First BSA rifle was a supersport .22. First rifle was many years earlier, a Webley & Scott.

A second hand .22 fac R10, the shroud was shortened to the barrel lenght. So it makes some noise.
I still have it
Don't know the shotcount before I got it. But I put at least 25 tins of jsb's jumbo exacts in it. Without any problems. No leaking, no indexing problems, no reg problems. I only changed 2 or 3 times the probe o-ring.

I love it...

BSA Mercury on permanent loan from big sisters boyfriend when I was about thirteen, I had it about 6 or 7 years and still miss it. It was returned as agreed when I lost interest and they split up, and also in the same condition it was given to me.

Mine was a mk2 airsporter which I've still got. It's in a right mess but one day I will restore her.

My first BSA air gun was a well used BSA cadet major in .177cal,the metal work was all scratched, the woodwork was battered and my dad had made a rear sight for it as only the upright posts were left but to me at that time it was the finest looking thing in the world,it was as long as I was tall, I was only about 7yrs old at the time, wish Istill had it.P.S. That was back in 1973!!! :sign0173: :bunnydance:

Pre-Owned R10 for me and delighted with it. So much more accurate than I am. Hoping to do it justice sometime with some patience and practice.

Mine was a Mk2 Airsporter .22 given to me by a neighbour when I was about 13. Loved the rifle, iron sights only of course, but seemed very accurate. Once took a crow from top of tree at least 50 yds away with it. When I went over to collect the body it had vanished and at the time I thought a cat must have grabbed it but now in hindsight think it more likely the Airsporter just stunned it at that range! Sold it on for a couple of quid a few years later and now wish I hadn't. Have an early Lightning now which I keep to  play with but it is not as good as that old Airsporter IMHO.

A BSA Meteor .22 at the age of 10, and I still have it.  I also still have the original box it came in as well as the targets, target holder, and oil bottle.

A beautiful .22 airsporter, which I duly ruined by painting the woodwork in DPM camo.  :03:

Mine was a .22 BSA Mercury back in about 1978/79  then had a second one in .177 which was a big improvement, or at least I thought so as I shot more stuff with it.
