BSA butt pads and heel plates don't fit!
« on: June 16, 2017, 07:44:12 PM »

I am restoring two old BSA's, one a MKV Meteor, the other a Supersport with a 'S' prefix in the serial number, which I assume is Gamo Spain. Anyway, neither butt pad fits anywhere near! They are way too small! Is this normal? Not sure what to do about it, but a proper fitting pad is a must I think. Can anybody recommend a replacement that I can sand down to fit correctly? Thanks

Recently fitted a Bisley adjustable butt pad to my HW97kt, it was a doddle to fit and very easy sizing to fit just using a Junior Hacksaw for large material removal and a final grind down with a small sharpfoning stone of about 400/800 I think.

Yes, took your advice and fitted one myself. Thanks!
