And a new barrel too, thats not straight either  /shucks 2/ /shucks 2/

Its a good job I usually see the funny side of everything. Once Christmas is out the way I will probably look at getting it fixed or give it to someone who wants a gun to play about with if its not worth fixing

Tippy Toes,

Did you tell him to shoot it not to beat the thing to death.
Omg,
I would be devastated if that happened to mine.
I hope he is replacing/paying for repair?

Everything can be repaired but you'll always see the join line on the stock. The barrel will probably need to be replaced if bent there's no way I'd bother trying to straighten it.

officially, just the 3 at the moment:
superstar, s10 & ultra se single shot
i'm sure more will follow next year, along with going for my fac & hopefully getting a .22lr  /shucks 2/

unofficially, i've got my dad's r10, which he's just had worked by xtx, it's 10x the rifle it was (still preferring the s10 though), but as they say, possession is 9/10 of the law  /bashful/33

i'd have been vying for blood tippy! perhaps it's karma for for shooting a defenseless phone  /sslaughhhh/

Bit of an Ultra freak really.
1x .177  Ultra MMC tactical single shot for use by my 11 year old granddaughter for HFT.  Rowan magazine. Bought new.
1x .177  Ultra SE tactical multishot + single shot tray for HFT.  Bought new.
1x .22    Ultra MMC beech stock fully camo'd for permission use. Rowan magazine,  green laser. Bought 2nd hand on a private sale.  I wanted a tactical model but 2nd hand prices are silly hence the beech stock camo wrapped to protect the beautiful wood.  I would like an MMC tactical stock if anyone has any sensibly priced sources.

I'm a bit of a pre-charged Chinese rifle freak too (very much under-rated,  especially by those who have never shot them).  I did have an AA S400 classic I owned from new but I didn't seem to be getting the pleasure I should have been getting using it even though it was blindingly accurate.  Sourcing an Ultra for my granddaughter changed all that.  What sheer fun!  It seemed to put something back into my shooting that had been missing using the S400.  How the rifle is so accurate with such a short barrel beats me but I'm certainly not complaining.

I've read on some forums the problems some people have had with Ultras but I haven't had a single problem whatsoever with any of them. ????

Just one BSA gun for me...
A Mk5 Meteor, bought as a wreck, and specifically as a winter project. The only problem is that I bought the gun just over a fortnight ago, worked on it straight away - and finished it within five days! Winter went by so quickly this year!!
Looks good, and shoots .177 Superdomes at an average of 682ft/sec or 8.6ft.lbs.
I'm now looking for another winter project..!

How many BSAs do I own? 5.
1) 1978 Airsporter .22, bought it new. Virtually unmarked, just some slight wearing of the blueing at the muzzle (presumably where I slip it in and out of the gunslip). Wears a "Leslie Hewett- made in Japan" 3-9 x 40 scope bought at the same time.
2) Comet .22. Yep, a Gamo with a BSA barrel. And I must say that for a budget gun, it's immensely enjoyable and quite up to the job.
3) Second-hand but mint Ultra Mk 1 single-shot .22. My first PCP, attracted to it because it was so uncomplicated, and whilst the looks took some getting used to the handling was just so sweet from the first shot, as was the accuracy.
4) Scorpion tactical .177 single shot. Unbelievable ability to put pellet after pellet almost through the same hole. This is son's preferred choice on squirrels and pigeons, and they make a lethal pair.
5) Mk 2 Super10 .22. Second hand but minter, early magazine indexing issues were resolved by Rancid Tom. Superb accuracy, 250 shots per fill, consistent all the way through, beautiful Richter Optik 3-9 x 50 AO IR scope- so why do I still feel rather detached from it? Don't know.

Total BSA count is 15 so far

6 x S10 - .22 BBK x1 walnut
.177 BBK x2 walnut and beech
.22 BBK SC Bowkett Blue print
               .22 BB Beech
               .22 Stalker Tiger Ten

4 x R10 - .22 x2
               .177 x2

2 x Ultra - .22 tenched and custom walnut stock
.177 regged and a special with  a removed MMC and longer air tube it looks like an U/O shotty in a tac stock

2 x Lightning XL - .177 in tac stock
                            .22 in walnut

1 x Firebird in an amazing GinB stock

A few of the above are stock but most have had some sort of upgrade or improvement by either tuning, stock or a complete reworking by shortening barrels or different bottle sizes.

Just looking for a couple of nice older springers to balance up the collection.
