im not so sure about that since more spring rifles or piston struggle to get to 18 or 20 ft-lbs so how can this be 30 ...

There were claims of 28ftlbs (or maybe more) out of Weihrauch HW80's years ago, .25's if I remember correctly.

thats the puppy, supposed to be a spot on piece of kit that was. mind you, that seems to be the case with most theoben guns, from my limited experience with em, and the shooting press...

id be alittle wary of crosman spring guns i was going to buy a quest before christmas but it had made in china written all over it and it bore more than a passing resemlance to the smk 19

dont hang me for this ...but the eliminator was one beast to shoot as the recoil messed up some very good scopes as it sufferd from recoil very badley i remember reading on the yellow forum about some US members saying they where to heavy on recoil

The Crosman referred to is a "Nitro Piston" model - gas ram in English.
