My R10 sprang a leak and Darrin took the time to send me a guide, with photos on how to get to it, then talked me through the last bit on the phone.
The leak is now fixed. If anyone knows me they will realise that this is the eqivalent of talking down a jumbo jet!
Thanks for your time and patience Darrin, you're a diamond geezer.

My rifle was damaged and required the Upper Receiver to be replaced, this I managed to complete myself with a lot of help from Darrin (via phone) but when it came to the fine tuning - I was lost.
Darrin, once again, setup the rifle and worked his magic to restore accuracy and consistency. At the risk of repeating myself "nothing was too much trouble", even though he was very ill at the time and running a temperature resembling a nuclear reactor - hope you get better soon mate.
We found his Sky Package truly fantastic - Moto-GP - with surround sound rocks!  happy0065

This is a little late in posting, I've actually been out shooting most days since i got my rifle back  rolleye0012

First of all i just want to thank you Darrin for what a tremendous job you've done on the rifle, and the patience you must have to put up with me and my constant questions!  sSig_heeheehee

Since receiving the rifle back it's been a joy to use, the workman ship in the barrel and shroud looks superb, it's better than what i thought it would look like!
like i said before i've actually been shooting most days since it's been back, i've missed out on valuable shooting time while Darrin had it with him!  sSig_heeheehee

The constituency is out of this world, compared to what it use to be like I'm really really pleased with the work you've done on it, after having the trouble with the pellets I've concluded it likes the Bisley Superfields and the grouping is....well you've seen it!  happy0065 happy0065

so Darrin a big big thank you  thanks998 thanks998 thanks998

Got my Ultra back today after XTX working his magic fitting a reg. I love it even more now, definitely need a dive cylinder though, not sure about hand pumping it that much  sSig_heeheehee. Only managed to get 50 odd pellets through it and then i ran out of pellets but that is still an improvement.
So thanks again XTX you are a legend, and thanks for putting up with my constant emailing and questions.  happy0065 sign0173 happy0065

Just got the ultra back from Darrin yesterday and he's done an awesome job on it ! The regulator makes a huge difference and i'm sure he's put it back together far better than bsa had built it, everything just seems to be so much smoother !
Awesome work, thanks again !!

I would like to say a huge thanks to Darrin, I have just collected my T10 from him after having a reg fitted and the bolt modified. It's fair to say he is a true gent, extremely knowledgeable and his work is exceptional. I can't wait to get it scoped back up and put a few pellets through it.
If anyone is thinking about having a reg fitted, do not have any hesitation in speaking to Darrin, you will not be disappointed.

Looking at your previous feedback I am somewhat lost for a new description to use to describe your utter helpfulness to me.

To all BSA owners (and others) here is a man who knows his stuff, is willing to share his knowledge and who goes well beyond the norm for customer service...and I at this stage am not even a paying customer!

Darrin is helping me out with my sick R10. He was not only willing to talk directly by telephone but sent good written directions along with photo's etc that enabled me to examine and understand what might be at fault. Now the latest...he is even sending me a replacement part machined to a higher standard than the BSA one and the loan of a tool from his workshop in the hope of resolving the problem. This is remarkable considering I live outside of the UK!

Darrin your obvious enthusiasm and willingness to share your BSA/airgun knowledge is appreciated by many people (me included.) I only hope that your enthusiasm is not tested and diminished by selfish people who might take advantage of your generosity. I intend to become a paying customer of yours and have you work on my rifle when next in the UK. A very public thank you!
