a bit more contrast would be very welcome indeed.
see the pic here under, the white letters (started by) are clear but the topic titel (blue) is difficult to read for me.
my eyes are not too well

and another thing, when you write a post or pm, the text is going off the screen when sentence is to long and i cannot scroll from left to right

I'm not sure about white lettering on a black background.

To make pages more readable the text size needs to be enlarged in my opinion.

You can change the look of the forum on your computer by changing the theme in your user profile.
I use a blueish background (I can't remember what the theme is called?) and I don't have any troubles reading things on the forum  /smile/

Colours can be altered in look and layout.
Click on profile and hover over modify profile and themes can be changed to suit you preference.
If larger text is required this can be done if you enlarge your browser interface, You will notice in th right hand bottom corber of your screen a box (generally above the clock) it shows a percentage view, generally preset at 100%, if you click it, it will enlarge your veiw but it will also limit your screen view, you can however just use your arrow keys to move the screen around or click again to reduce. Huub i think the above might be your problem.
Hope this helps.
