Chrono a full shot string from 232Bar to 50Bar and post the results.

How about some plinking. My chronograph was giving wild readings but my r10 is consistently accurate 0.4" high at 32 yards and on zero at 42 not sure how much fps variation you would need to give noticeable vertical stringing

I thunk with the BSA reg it's definitely a when rather than an if it will play up. I wouldn't buy a regged BSA without factoring in the cost of a new reg. As has been said, a full fill down to empty through a chrono is probably the best way.
So the other way of asking is, why are you asking? Are you having a problem?

hi Sparkuk its just that I've been noticing when I've left the rifle cocked when walking round my perm...(with safety on) I have not been hitting where I want to hit but the next shot is bang on so I didn't know if the reg was sticking or leaking....cheers

Defo sounds like a leak. A lot of regs have what is know a creep, I've seen people on FT courses fire there rifles empty to ensure that no creep has happened  before entering the lane to shoot.
best way to test, as you say, set the gun up at 40/50 yds, shoot group, wait 15 mins or longer, then shoot next shot, see where the pellet drops, if it low, you know u have a problem.

regards
Nigel.

What Nigel said..... or leave it a bit longer. If it does drop off in a short period of time then you might as well get it sorted now, if you wait till it fails all together then it'll break at the worst moment possible!!!
