sent pm to wrong recipient
« on: March 14, 2015, 02:10:32 PM »

hi mr moderator,
is it possible to cancel or delete a personal message sent in error to a member that was actually meant for someone else please?
its no great problem in terms of privacy but it would be nice to delete it out of consideration to the wrong recipient.
Thanks
walt :-)

hi ranger,
thanks for the message. i manged to track down the 'wrong recipient' and appologise so no harm done: i'm not sure how the pm could have been sent to the wrong ID as i clicked on the pm icon next to the correct recipient? oh well just one of those vagaries of computing i guess, though as the 'wrong recipent' replied: 'No worries about the wrong PM, just be greatful it wasn't photos of you in a camo mankini while bunny bashing lol'.

perish the thought! [had to look up what on earth a 'mankini' was mind you! lol]

cheers,
walt :-)

We've had a few server problems just recently, we think they're under control now but be careful what pm's you send for now!

Baz, he's kept it for his private collection.
I believe it sits in a frame on the mantelpiece.

Sleep easy Walt, Captain Cammo is probably in a garden hedge in Bristol at the moment, nearer to you than to me so I'm not worried!  :hee20hee20hee:
