Aftermarket trigger or trigger repair BSA CF2 .300 Win Mag
« on: April 02, 2017, 02:09:13 PM »

Hi BSA Owners,
recently bought a BSA CF2 in .300 WM with a set trigger (German style).
Got the problem that the trigger does not have any tension and does not reset after pulling it.
It seems that a spring is missing in the trigger box.
I already disassembled the rifle but could not find broken spring parts. Maybe the previous owner lost the spring or something else.

Can anybody tell me if there is a kind of reset spring in the trigger box for the main trigger and if so where I can get it as spare part. Further my question is, if there is any afetrmarket trigger for the CF2? Just in case I can not repair the original trigger.

Many thanks for your support on this.

I may be wrong but this is the only spring I can find for the set trigger unit:

So I will just order all of the springs available and will replace these.
