Stolen BSA SuperTen
« on: April 11, 2017, 10:32:48 AM »

One of my customers got in touch with me to tell me that his SuperTen Mk2 was stolen last night, from the Bolton area of Greater Manchester. I'll have more details soon but it was a Mk2 action .177 calibre, SNo DN01712 anyone hearing about this gun or being offered SuperTen parts from a recently dismantled gun should contact me I will pass information on.
The thieving scum don't know what they've got, I recently tuned this gun and according to the customer it was shooting perfectly. He is gutted as anyone would be so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Other identification details:
Full length barrel, 1/2" UNF screwcut, Weihrauch silencer fitted, 1 magazine in gun at time of theft, a not quite standard stock, probably made by Sheffield Custom Stocks (but we're not 100% certain) looks quite similar to the Mk2 SuperTen stock at first glance but has slightly wider and deeper fore-end. Beech wood, stained but not very dark (possibly walnut stain) with  non-adjustable brown rubber recoil pad.

Think looking on the gun trader sites would be a good start and e-bay.
.
I don't know how long people would take to strip n sell the bits - barrels worth a few bob n regulater 2nd hand stock as well.
.
thieving gits is all I will say.

I know it may never re-appear, if it does it may be in parts on e-bay etc but we can only hope the idiot/s who stole it are foolish enough to try to sell it or trade it. Local gunshops and the police have been informed but the more people know about it the better.

Yes Nigel, my FB presence is none at the moment due to computer issues, if you could post that there is an S10 currently on the stolen list please do.
As you say anyone buying/receiving/handling any parts or the whole gun, no matter how they claim to have come by them will have the parts/gun removed from them by the police and possibly be charged with handling or receiving stolen property. Even if they have e-bay receipts it still doesn't make the gun theirs it just points a finger to the seller as being involved in the theft or handling of stolen goods.

Oky matey, I will post on the groups i'm in.

lets hope it turns up, and the scummy gits get caught.

I detest people who steels etc, I was brought up but a VERY firm Dad.

Gee, you did not dare do anything wrong, cos the Velvet clad iron first came your way.

even in his 70's I would not look the wrong way at my dad, nor would I.

Take care buddy.
