It shot the Crossman Premiers brilliantly !!!!
okay he claims its all built in the BSA factory, but is it ?

Wow it really did like the crossman's!

I wish I had something that accurate at 50 yards.

Theoben.

I'm sure people will come along with hints and tips.
I'd start with cleaning your barrel, i'd use a pull through with patches and bore cleaner.
You don't say what calibre you gun is, there are people on here whose guns only shoot Bisley Mag well (.177)
Some, BSA barrels don't like the JSB brand. Its all about trial and error to find the pellet match to you barrel.
Is the Scope parallaxed to your distance you are shooting at ?
is there a silencer, are the pellets clipping the insides or end cap.
the barrel crown is it concentric to the bore ? is there a burr on the end of the barrel ?
the mag is it worn ? (check alignment pellet location hole to entry hole in mag)
.
i'd start with these, and I am sure others will add and give more advise.

Cheers Nigel,

I made a bit of a daft purchase a few years ago from a friend of a friend. I purchased a Mk theoben rapid in good faith without trying before buying.
Rather than the hunting rifle I was expecting, it's turned into a tinkering project and massive learning curve.
It does look nice, a walnut stocked classic, but unfortunately I wouldn't dare hunt anything with it because of accuracy issues.

At the moment I've little time to concentrate on this project (work & new baby) & wouldn't dare pass it on.

Thanks for all the tips, I'll post my findings in the future as I start getting to the bottom of it all.
