bsa superstar mk1 ,22
« on: February 20, 2019, 05:46:54 PM »

 :sign0144: Hi,
Just started shooting again after 40 years away. Used to love my old mark 1 Airsporter but things have certainly moved on since then. Recently purchased a TX200HC. .22 and a 97K .22. Fantastic guns but with very little to muck with so I also purchased a BSA Superstar mk1 to tinker with. In the process of stripping it down and refurbishing  and just wondered if anybody has re-machined the rotating breach to accept a larger O ring/seal. The present one is 1mm and I have read that people have done this up to 2/3mm to improve compression and consistency. Any help would be greatly appreciated (or am I just talking out of my pension book!)

Hello I recently got myself a superstar mk1 vmach

25 shots over chrono produced 2fps spread with 10.90

With numbers like that, they don't need messing with just setup right 👍👍
