Reading the link supplied and in the write up it mentions that they are receiving Goldstar SE with a new improved match trigger, so would this suggest they have worked on what was in the Goldstar, I purchased one via the Australian BSA Distributor in April 2019, firstly the long first stage I can live with, however the very, very heavy second stage needed adjustment but to me the alarming problem was the excessive side ways slop of which I am currently trying to eliminate. So surely this is not the new improved match trigger so you would assume it has been worked on and these flaws fixed

Marketing BS. It's the same old R10 trigger unit which is actually the same as any other unit except the trigger blade. Actually my R10 unit had stiffer springs than the unit that came from an old Dynamax. Anyway, washers to eliminate side ways slop and install lighter springs and you have a very nice trigger there if properly adjusted.

Ultra JSR and Goldstar are rather good ones, proper old BSA PCPs. Ultra JSR is low power junior rifle while Goldstar is FT version of Scorpion with R10 trigger unit, barrel that's done the old way and gizmos on the stock. Defiant and Ultra XL are the new "improved" versions of BSA PCPs with state of the art Gamo trigger units and fill valves that are prone to leak, I'd steer away from those. If Ultra JSR has a low price point it would make for a nice hunting/pest gun when you up the power to 12 fpe region.
