Cheers!
Norfolkandgood gets positive feedback too, he paid when he said he would, no fuss, pleasure to deal with.

So far these are available to fit Ultra's Scorpions and S10's. I'll try to check an R10 stock this weekend, but I can make them for any other rifle that has a screwed on rubber butt pad if you can take the butt pad off and trace round it, post it to me and I'll sort the laser cutting, turning, brazing and polishing. Butt pad extensions are next on the list if you've got long arms....

I can't always promise such fast service, during the post strikes last year one took over 10 days to arrive even though it was first class recorded delivery!
If I have them in stock, I post them immediately. If you're unlucky and I don't actually have any in, there may be a short wait while more are made, but that only takes a couple of days (usually).
Cheers Dougie, you're a top bloke for telling me it arrived safely, I can recommend you to anyone as a decent customer.

Glad you like them! I think they were new in 1980?  :) They were off as soon as the rifle was home and a scope fitted, so they may as well have been new. Good to know they're on a rifle getting used not sat in a pellet tin in my store of useful bits....  ;)

Well done Rancid Tom
« Reply #18 on: February 15, 2010, 07:25:43 PM »

RT has just managed to remove 15 pellets from a Goldstar that I bought with a blocked barrel. 13 of them being the real nasties - prometheus. The RFD I got it from was clearly dubious about the possibility of unblocking the barrel as he offered me the gun at half price plus a buy back guarantee if I couldn't get it fixed.
So well done RT.

Having shot a few through to confirm it's shooting ok I've just put 10 through the chrono and got pretty consistent results, I'll have to try it out at the range to make sure it's grouping ok as there is some sign of damage in the rifling.
Prometheus are steel pellets with a nylon skirt (for those who don't remember them) and if the skirt breaks up they can jam in the barrel. Being steel they can damage rifling if they do jam, or score the barrel if they don't.
Over the years I've pulled nails, screws, ball bearings and other such unmentionable things from air rifle barrels and cylinders, but a consistent "offender" was always the Prometheus pellet.
If anyone ever offers you Prometheus pellets, you could do no better than politely decline, or put them on your mantelpiece as an example of what not to put in your barrel.

Thanks! It all depends on how quick the postman is. If I have stuff in stock it goes out as soon as it's paid for. If I have to wait for other people to send me stock it sometimes drags a bit, I'm currently waiting for some parts but I  can't finish a job until they arrive. O rings are usually in stock or only a day or two for me to re-stock.

Have to say, what a brilliant bloke. Ordered an adjustable butt pad from him for my T10 on Friday. Picked it up from the depot today as I missed the postie and I must say its fantastic. Fits the stock nicely and makes a hell of a difference.

He was always happy to answer my questions and couldn't have been more help. Would defiantly reccommend, if your thinking about getting one, go for it.

Cheers,

James.
